The People's Choice - Fontana

Once again, we owe you, the Internet, a debt of gratitude. You came out to vote on the People's Pitstop lineup for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race in Fontana. Here are the results.

A List. A great run will come to an end as Jimmie Johnson takes the starting spot for the final time this season. Jeff Gordon will watch this one from the bench.

B List. One of the starting spots is settled. It will go to this week's poll winner, Ryan Newman. The other spot will come down to qualifying results and will go to either Kasey Kahne or Joey Logano. Meanwhile, one bench spot goes to Jamie McMurray.

C List. Another clear winner, and another driver appearing for the last time in the starting lineup: A.J. Allmendinger. As you can see below, he ran away with this poll. Paul Menard, one of the many drivers tied for second, will get the bench spot.

This post will be updated as soon as possible after Friday's qualifying session. In the meantime, don't forget to vote on the football polls. We'll be back with some predictions.

UPDATED 9:15 P.M. By qualifying 5th, Kahne earned the starting spot over Logano, who qualified 10th. And even though he won't start for us, McMurray will contribute to our bottom line by earning the pole and giving us a 10-point bonus.
