The People's Choice - Week 5

As Sunday morning (and all the pregame shows it brings) dawns, the People's Pigskin has a lineup thanks to you, the Internet. Here are the players who will represent us in our People's League fantasy football matchup against the Fighting Amish.

Quarterback. No surprise here: Peyton Manning was your unanimous choice again. He plays the Kansas City Chiefs this week.

Running back. If we went strictly by your votes, we would be starting Michael Turner and Darren McFadden this week. Unfortunately, McFadden and Knowshon Moreno have been ruled out because of injuries, so Kevin Smith leapfrogs past them into the starting lineup. He faces the St. Louis Rams, while Turner faces the Cleveland Browns.

Wide receiver. The picture is much simpler here. Calvin Johnson (playing the Rams) and Chad Ochocinco (playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) will fill the starting receiver slots again. And we'll use a three-receiver lineup by giving the flex spot to Dwayne Bowe (facing the Indianapolis Colts).

There are no changes at tight end (Antonio Gates, who faces the Oakland Raiders) or defense/special teams (the Tennessee Titans, who play the Dallas Cowboys). Earlier in the week, you voted to pick up Matt Bryant for our kicker spot. He gets the Browns today.
